Cookie Policy
Last updated:
DDSEMail uses only essential storage: a host-only session cookie for sign-in and a single localStorage entry for your theme preference. We do not run web analytics, advertising trackers, or cross-site pixels. Disabling cookies prevents you from staying signed in.
What is a cookie?
Cookies and similar technologies (like localStorage) are small pieces of
data a site stores in your browser so it can remember things across page loads.
Cookies we set
| Name | Category | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
__Host-eox | Essential | Encrypted, host-only session cookie used to keep you signed in. | Up to 7 days; cleared on sign-out. |
Browser storage (not cookies)
| Key | Storage | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
dds-theme | localStorage | Remembers your light/dark theme preference and prevents a flash on load. | Persistent until cleared. |
dds-inbox-theme | localStorage | Legacy theme key kept for backward compatibility. | Persistent until cleared. |
Third-party cookies
DDSEMail does not set any third-party advertising or analytics cookies. We do not embed
pixels from Google Analytics, Meta, LinkedIn, X, or similar networks. Embedded font
files are served from fonts.googleapis.com and fonts.gstatic.com via standard CSS @font-face requests; these requests are not cookies, but your browser does
contact those hosts to fetch the font files.
How to control cookies
- Use your browser settings to block or delete cookies for
ddsmail.me. Blocking__Host-eoxwill prevent you from staying signed in. - Use private/incognito windows for a clean session.
